When it comes to lift compliance, there’s no such thing as “almost.”
At PULO Compliance, we don’t deal in grey areas. We operate at one standard only - 100% compliance, every time. It’s why every client we manage can rest easy knowing their lifts, stairlifts, and hoists are safe, certified, and documented.
The Man Behind the Standard
PULO was founded in 2023 by Ryan, whose career began far from the world of building management. At just 16, without a fixed home or qualifications, Ryan joined the Royal Navy’s Fleet Air Arm. For 9 years, he maintained Merlin helicopters for the Commando Helicopter Force - a role where precision, discipline, and reliability could mean the difference between life and death.
That same mindset now drives PULO. After leaving the military, Ryan spent years as a machinery engineer surveyor for British Engineering Services and Zurich, developing deep expertise in inspections, safety regulations, and asset management.
His philosophy is simple:
“If I’m in it, I’m giving it my all. What you see is what you get, no shortcuts, no compromises.”

What We Deliver
Today, PULO manages compliance for over 2,100 assets nationwide - from Oban to the South Coast. Clients include major housing associations, national hotel chains, demolition firms, pharmaceutical companies, and more. Every single one is fully compliant.
Our approach is proactive. We don’t wait for deadlines or reminders. We monitor, maintain, and communicate so that our clients never have to chase us - and never have to worry about their compliance status.
Why It Matters
Non-compliance isn’t just a legal issue. It’s a safety risk, a reputational threat, and a potential financial disaster. By taking ownership of the entire process, PULO gives clients total peace of mind.
With us, you’re not just getting a service provider, you’re getting a partner who will treat your business like their own.
